Weekly Prayer Topics

Each week all the Lift Small Groups pray in concert focusing on a particular topic. Whether you are in a small group or not, join us by reading about this week's prayer topic on the Lift Facebook page. If you can’t make it to your small group on a given week or it isn’t meeting, you can find out how to pray with us as a church anyway. Let’s see how God responds to us all calling on Him together on a regular basis for specific requests in unity!

Prayer Topic this week: Ask for God's favour and guidance for those relocating to Switzerland or looking for new job opportunities here or abroad.

Scripture: Acts 17:26-27

"From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us."

Please thank Jesus first for being so faithful in making himself known to a number of people who responded to the Gospel over the last few weeks!!!

Then, ask 😀

  1. Ask for Devine connections as people seek employment and guidance in their journey with God.
  2. Ask for God's favour on people relocating as they seek accommodation, churches and friendships.
  3. Pray for strength and protection over marriages as they seek God's best for this season of their journey.

Thanks for praying with us.

Prayer Meetings at Lift

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6 NIV)

Prayer is a key element of our faith, as well as an instruction from the word of God. It's a part of the concepts of "Body: Service and Ministry", "Grow: Discipleship" and "Belong: Fellowship"

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:18 NIV)

We encourage you to join us at our prayer meetings to pray for your needs and others' as we reach out to God and petition Him, with thanksgiving as well, as he answers our call.
