About Lift
LIFT is a non-denominational church that stands firm on the Bible; our core beliefs are summarized in the "What we believe" section. Click here to view.

We believe that God has called us:

  1. To offer a place to those who are seeking to worship Jesus in community, irrespective of nationality and church affiliation. We often have more than thirty different nationalities worshipping with us.
  2. To disciple people into their call. Remember: "Your call is probably where you spend most of your time."
    • "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received." Ephesians 4:1
  3. To fulfill our Mandate of proclaiming the good news, by presenting our Message (the Gospel) uncompromisingly and unashamedly to all to whom God is calling us, using every means possible to introduce them to the Man, Christ Jesus, our Lord. We exist for the sake of our non-members.
    • "Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. [...] I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings." 1 Corinthians 9:19, 22-23.
  4. To help people grow in their relationship with Jesus and to worship God alone.
    • "I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings." Philippians 3:10  "Man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever." (Westminster Catechism)
  5. To continue to make Lift Church be a resource-base to help others to preach the Gospel all over the world.
